In the Wet Season, the grass and foliage turns to a lush, green color. The Wet Season starts at the beginning of Winter, and ends at the beginning of Summer. It is split up into 3 sub-seasons: Early Wet Season, Mid Wet Season, and Late Wet Season. The Wet Season is a tropical season affecting tropical biomes (Jungles, Deserts, etc.). Evergreen Trees like Fir or Spruce do not get affected by Seasons.Precipitation is also more frequent in Winter. Biome temperatures are the lowest, allowing snow to start falling in biomes that normally don't receive any. In Winter, the grass and foliage fades in color into brown or gray, making plants look dead. Winter is the 4th season of the year for temperate biomes. The Icon for Autumn is an Orange Maple Leaf Biome temperatures start to fall towards the end of the season leading to Winter. In Autumn, the grass transitions to a yellow-ish color, while foliage gets a yellow-ish and later an orange-ish tint, which is most vibrant at its peak. The Icon for Summer is a Yellow SunĪutumn is the 3rd season of the year for temperate biomes. Thunderstorms are also more common in summer. Temperatures are the highest at this time and percipitation steadily decreases after the transition from Spring. In Summer, the grass and foliage mellows out to a yellow-ish green tint. Summer is the 2nd season of the year for temperate biomes. Winter snows start to melt, and precipitation is also more frequent in Spring. In Spring, the grass and foliage transitions to a blue-ish green color, and biome temperatures start warming up from Winter towards the end of the season. Spring is the 1st season of the year for temperate biomes. Subtropical/Temperate Seasons Spring □□□ Any tropical biomes like Jungles will be hot even during winter and the grass will not change to blue and they will not snow. Also during the Early/Late Wet or Dry Seasons, weather will act as it normally does in vanilla Minecraft. Additionally, in tropical biomes such as Tropical Rainforest, only Summer crops are in season due to the relatively higher temperatures (Other crops can still be grown underground, or using a glass roof to insulate them). However, tropical biomes, such as jungles, stony peaks and savannas will go through Wet and Dry seasons except Deserts. The Four Seasons Affect Temperate and Subtropical Biomes like Forests, Plains and Mountains. Each sub-season lasts for 8 in-game days by default, so a full year lasts for 96 in-game days. There are technically 12 seasons in Serene Seasons, with each of the 4 seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) having an Early, Mid, and Late sub-season. Not only do grass and foliage colors change between seasons, but temperatures shift and the types of crops that are in season will also differ. Seasons are a major feature in Serene Seasons.
